Loddon Campaspe CLC

About Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre

We stand up for the rights of rural and regional Victorians who are experiencing social and economic disadvantage.

Our team is based in Bendigo, with a second office in Maryborough.

We provide free legal information, advice and representation services to people across Central Victoria in a range of legal areas, including:

  • Family law (parenting arrangements, property settlement, separation and divorce)
  • Family violence
  • Child protection
  • Fines and infringements
  • Debt problems
  • Consumer complaints
  • Complaints about government services (including Centrelink)
  • Minor criminal matters

We understand that legal problems don’t happen on their own, and are often connected to other health and social problems experienced by our clients. We work closely with other local services to ensure that clients receive the integrated support that they need.

We also provide legal resources, education and training to local service providers and community groups, to help people understand the law, stand up for their rights, and know where to get legal help when they need it.

We also fight to change laws and policies that are unfair. We work with our clients and their communities to raise the voice of rural and regional Victorians and to advocate for social justice, equality and inclusion for all.
