Family Violence Service – Goulburn Valley Region

About this service

Our dedicated family violence legal service helps people with family violence intervention orders and related legal issues (like family law and child protection).

We provide legal advice and court support to people who are experiencing family violence, applying for an intervention order, or responding to an intervention order.

Our lawyers are available to assist people with family violence intervention order matters at local Magistrates’ Courts through our family violence duty lawyer service.

For people experiencing family violence with other complex legal or safety needs, we may also be able to provide legal advice before court and ongoing legal representation.

Who is this service for?

This service is for anyone who is:

  • Experiencing or at risk of family violence;
