In 2017, LCCLC commenced the Tipping the Scales Project in Maryborough, a Community Justice Partnership that aims to work with local services and community groups to increase access to justice for people affected by family violence in the Central Goldfields Shire, one of Victoria’s most disadvantaged local government areas. The project is part of the broader Go-Goldfields collection action alliance, and is funded by the Victorian Legal Services Board Grants Program, Go-Goldfields and the Centre for Non-Violence.
