ARC Justice is an independent, for-purpose, human rights organisation that incorporates the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre, the Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre and Housing Justice.
Through the delivery of accessible legal services and tenancy advice, ARC Justice not only provides support to people in regional and rural Victoria experiencing disadvantage relating to their housing, family, relationship, consumer, economic, social and civil rights; they advocate for systemic change to create a fairer and more inclusive community.

Your Impact
The Intake and Reception Officer is the first point of contact for our clients who may call or walk into ARC Justice and for staff when addressing issues that impact on their daily work. The primary purpose of the role is to identify a client’s legal concerns, provide appropriate information and referrals to both in-house and external services and, where appropriate, make appointments and to provide corporate services administration support in the areas of facilities, fleet, information communication and technology and general administration.
What you bring
You have strong customer service capability, have a commitment to access and equity principles and an ability to engage with people who may have complex vulnerabilities including trauma.
You also have:
- Ability to problem solve to accurately assess and address client needs.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Teams.
- Experience and knowledge of general office and reception duties.
- An ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines and establish work priorities.
